A brief of Artega
Between 2009 and 2012, the Artega GT was a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive 2-seat sports vehicle built by German automaker Artega. Artega's initial model was the GT. There were 153 units made in all. The Artega GT debuted a year later at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show, after first been revealed as a mock-up at the 2007 Geneva Auto Show. At the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, Klaus Dieter Frers said that Artega was investing in a solar-powered concept vehicle to compete with the Tesla Roadster (2008) and Fisker Karma. The Artega GT was created by Henrik Fisker, who also created the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
